   New Short Term Classes

If you have been attending regularly and never took that final step to join the church, the time is now!  Please mark your calendars and join us in a great faith adventure.  In this class, we investigate why it is important to grow spiritually to be a strong disciple of Christ and what it means to belong to this church family.There is no obligation to join PUMC at the end of the class. You may find that you have more questions, or desire more time to consider joining. Please R.S.V.P by calling 407-438-8947 if you are interested in attending one of the classes. Childcare is available upon request.
   
 

   Ongoing Classes

 
 
On Sunday mornings, during the 9:30 hour, we offer two adult Sunday School classes.  Both welcome you to be a part of their Bible study and fellowship.
    ►The Shalom Class meets in the choir room to discuss Scriptures, share mutual experiences and learn from each others' faith journeys.  Although the primary membership includes adults age 50 and older, adults of any age have attended and are welcome.   The class is led by retired pastors who guide the participants through in-depth Bible Study (Adult Bible Studies, Uniform Series) that explores themes and individual books of the Bible. 
 
     ►The Mixed Blessings Class meets in the youth room space closest to the kitchen. They are an adult class, open to couples or singles of all ages, that meets for small group fellowship and Bible study.  The topic of study may vary from exploring a book together, following the weekly sermon series theme, or doing a short-term topical Bible study with much opportunity for group interaction and discussion. 
  

   Short term Classes

 
  
Financial Peace University is a short term 13-week class which explores personal finances and how to budget, save, invest and be better stewards of the resources given to us.  The class meets once a week and is taught using DVD resources from Dave Ramsey.  For more information about Dave Ramsey and the financial program visit www.daveramsey.com/fpu/home/.  The only cost for the class is a fee to cover the expense of course materials.  Contact Jackie Shadrake 407-491-7079 or jlshadrake@yahoo.com  for more information about the local classes.
