Children's Ministries

Welcome to Peace United Methodist Church Children's Ministries where our goal is to build Christian Champions through 4 key ministry areas. They are Worship, Christian Education, Servanthood, and Building Relationships.

Children's Volunteer Requirements: All children's activities are lead by volunteers who have been screened.

Volunteers are supported through bi-monthly meetings and online training opportunities.

Nursery care is available for ages 0-3 years of age in classroom A.

KidsOwn worship is available during Contemporary Worship at 9:30 a.m starting on September 5th

When Kids Worship God amazing things happen. Kids prek-5th grade head back to the youth room following the Children's Story for high energy music, Bible Lessons, Discussions and more.

The Buzz! is available during Traditional Worship at 11:00 a.m starting on September 5th:Kids prek-5th grade will make a beeline back to Sunday School class as they engage in God's word through relationships, prayer and praise. Classroom Locations are as follows: Prek-1st grade classroom B, 2nd-3rd Grade classroom C and 4th and 5th grade classroom D.

Shine* Children's Choir is available during Traditional Worship at 11:00 a.m starting on August 15th:

Kids ages 2nd-5th grade will prepare for the Christmas and Spring Musicals as well as learn how to play the recorder. Kids will also have the opportunity to share their music during worship on designated days TBA. For more information please contact Julie Casteel at julie.casteel@gmail.com

45s meets on Sundays from 4:00-5:30 p.m. starting on September 12th:

45s is exclusively for 4th and 5th graders and meets on Sundays from 4:00-5:30 p.m Kids join us for wild and wacky games, Bible Adventures, hands on activities, worship and more. Of course friends are welcome. For more information please contact Deborah Norman at Deb2911@earthlink.net

Kids Day Out! will be offered on Friday October 15th and Friday October 29th:

Kids join us from 9:00-1:30 p.m. on your day off from school. There will be lots to do and see including games, crafts, snacks and more. Cost is $15.00 for the first child, $10.00 for the second child and $30.00 max for the family. Contact Julie Chatfield at juleechat@aol.com for details.

Trunk or Treat is on Sunday October 31st from 2:00-4:00 p.m.:

Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative to trick or treating. Take a family photo, watch The Great Pumpkin and trick or treat at festively decorated trunks. Concessions will also be sold. For more information please contact the church office at 407-438-8947.
